  1. Do I have to pre-book my parking?
    1. No, you do not. However, booking ahead is the most convenient way to park at Los Angeles International Airport. You may also receive special discounts and promotions for pre-booking.
  2. How far in advance can I book my parking?
    1. You can book your parking 365 days in advance.
  3. How much notice do I need to give to book parking?
    1. To pre-book parking you will need to make an online reservation at least 6 hours before you plan to park at Los Angeles International Airport.
  4. What is the minimum period I can make a booking for?
    1. You are able to make bookings for stays of less than an hour, however please note that the minimum cost of a reservation is the rate for a 24 hr stay.
  5. Can I book any parking structure?
    1. Yes, you can pre-book at any one of our parking structures subject to availability.
  6. What is the maximum duration I can book for?
    1. The maximum booking duration is 30 days.
  7. Does booking guarantee me a space?
    1. Pre-booking guarantees there will be space for you to park in the selected parking structure, but does not give you a specifically identified spot.

Pricing / Payments

  1. How much does it cost?
    1.  Please refer to the Los Angeles International Airport website flylax.com. Please note that the minimum cost will be for a 24 hour period. 
  2. What payment methods do you accept?
    1. We accept all major credit cards and debit cards.
  3. Is there an administrative fee for booking online?
    1. There is no administrative fee for booking online.
  4. Do the prices include taxes?
    1. Yes, our price includes taxes.
  5. How do I know that my booking is confirmed?
    1. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided while booking or the email address you entered when you registered. Please remember to have this confirmation email available when arriving at Los Angeles International Airport. You will need to scan the QR code provided in the email or on your phone in order to enter and exit the parking structure.
  6. When will my credit card be charged?
    1. Your credit card is charged at the time of booking.
  7. What if I stay longer than expected?
    1. If you stay longer than expected you will be responsible for paying the outstanding charges upon exiting the parking structure.
  8. What if I stay for a shorter duration than expected after entering the parking structure?
    1. We cannot provide refunds if you decide on a shorter stay.
  9. How do I get a receipt?
    1. The booking confirmation you receive via email is your proof of payment. You can also go to “Manage booking” and resend a confirmation or login to your account and resend a confirmation.

Your Booking

  1. Where can I find my booking reference?
    1. Your booking reference will be at the top of your confirmation email and begins with the letters “LAX”.
  2. Can I amend the booking?
    1. Yes, but you will need to make any changes more than 2 hours prior to arrival. You can manage and modify your booking here.
  3. Can I cancel the booking?
    1. Yes, but you must cancel more than 2 hours prior to arrival to get a full refund. You can cancel here. All refunds will go back to the credit card you used at the time of booking.
  4. How much time before my flight should I allow?
    1. Most airlines and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) recommend passengers arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before domestic flights. This allows ample time for you to park, check in for your flight, check baggage and go through security screening. 
  5. What should I bring with me?
    1. Please bring your email confirmation with you and have it available for scanning when you arrive at the parking structure. You may use a printed copy of your confirmation or the electronic copy on your phone.
  6. What should I do when I get to the parking structure?
    1. When you arrive at the parking structure, you may enter through any lane. Please pull up to the ticket machine at the entrance to the structure and scan the QR code from your email confirmation in the designated area. If your QR does not work or if you experience any other entry issues, please press the “Help” button on the ticket machine.
  7. How do I exit the parking structure?
    1. To exit the parking structure, please follow the exit signs, which lead you to the exit lane booths. You may exit through any lane. Please pull up to the ticket machine and scan the QR code from your email confirmation in the designated area to exit. If your QR does not work or if you experience any exit issues, please press the “Help” button on the ticket machine.

Other

  1. Are there any height restrictions?
    1. Parking Structures 1, 3 and 4 have a maximum vehicle height restriction of 7 feet, 6 inches. Parking Structure 2A has a maximum vehicle height restriction of 8 feet. Parking Structure 2B has a maximum vehicle height restriction of 6 feet, 10 inches. Parking Structures 5 and 7 have a maximum vehicle height restriction of 7 feet. Parking Structure 6 has a maximum vehicle height restriction of 8 feet, 2 inches.
  2. Parking for passengers with disabilities
    1. Every CTA Parking Structure has ADA parking spaces available near an elevator or arrivals or departure levels. Please keep in mind that CTA parking is on a first come, first served basis. The same posted parking rates apply to the ADA parking spaces.
  3. EV Stations
    1. There are charging stations available in Parking Structures 1, 2A, 2B, 3, 4, 5, and 6. EV charging is coming soon in Parking Structure 7. You may plug in and leave vehicles plugged in until you return from your trip.
  4. Motorcycles
    1. Motorcycles should not take a parking ticket upon entry of parking structure; they should drive around the gate arm to enter parking structure. Motorcycles park for free for up to a maximum of 30 days provided they park in designated motorcycle parking areas, end of rows and aisles. Motorcycles parking in vehicle parking spaces, blocking pedestrian walkways or ADA access will be cited and may be impounded at owner’s expense. Free parking is NOT available in Valet areas.
  5. What happens if my car is damaged or stolen while I am away?
    1. Los Angeles International Airport is not responsible for any damages or theft. If your car is damaged or stolen, please contact the Airport Police Department (424-646-7911) right away to file a report.
  6. What happens if my car will not start when I return or I have a flat tire?
    1. If your car is not starting or if you have a flat tire, contact the parking operator. They will assist your emergency service provider enter and exit the structure.
